About the Role. As Payroll Manager, you will work in a team environment, overseeing and processing payroll for Crown Packaging Corp.’s operations throughout the United States and Canada. This role requires the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee and direct payroll procedures, including processing systems, updates and transactions

Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and tax obligations in the US and Canada

Maintain accurate payroll records and files

Write and update payroll policies and procedures

Set up new employee information and accounts

Prepare reports and reconcile payroll accounts

Prepare and submit payroll tax returns

Prepare Payroll Journal Entries

Compile Salary Information for Worker’s Comp Audit

Job Requirements:

5-10 years Payroll Management experience

5 years ADP experience

Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with managers, co-workers and all departments within the company

In depth knowledge of benefits systems and payroll systems
