The Training & Practice Support Specialist candidate will be responsible for implementing technologies into the Crozer Health Medical Group ambulatory practice environment to enhance operational efficiency, clinical performance, revenue opportunities and process improvement to include the Cerner Millennium Practice Management System, Electronic Medical Record and other software systems.

Additionally, this candidate will be responsible for leading classroom education for providers and end users. Adhering to existing curriculmn and providing step by step workflow instruction in Cerner Millennium systems .

Responsibilities will include :

• Act as a liaison between the CHMG practices and the Department of IT in a leadership role.
• Identify revenue and clinical enhancement opportunities.
• Will also provide operational and technical support for technologies utilized by the Crozer Health Medical Group.
• Work with the operational teams when onboarding new providers, staff, and CHMG practices, and assess how practices are performing their financial, operational and clinical functions.
• Lead computer system trainings in classroom setting for, but not limited to : providers, nurses, medical assistants, medical receptionists, coders and billers.
• Revise, develop and implement new training classes as oppurtunies arise.
• Provide adhoc retrainings or shoulder to shoulder support in the practices.
• Develop training content and standard operating procedures to be implemented in the practices.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree preferable or equivalent business / training experience.
• Certification as a Trainer preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Willing to travel to various Crozer sites as needed.

Experience :

• Cerner Millennium Practice Management or Powerchart experience strongly preferred. (Experience / knowledge of other EMR's considered).
• Knowledge of clinical ambultory workflows, preferably with a background as a medical assistant or RN / LPN.
• Training experience strongly preferred small and large group.
• 5-7 years’ experience in highly responsible positions in physician practice or business office operations
