DETAILS ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Select, order, and stock store inventory. Set prices and sales promotions. Analyze consumer buying patterns to anticipate sales trends.

• Utilize point-of-sale and inventory management systems to process sales transactions and maintain records of purchases and sales.

• Maintain relationships with suppliers and liaise with departments within the organization to ensure tour teams and other internal customers are resourced with gear including imaging of products.

• Be a presence in the store. Greet customers, assess their needs, and help them find what they are looking for.

• Plan and operate pop-up shops for a variety of events and conferences

• 25 hours per week; set schedule at AIA HQ, hours may flex due to internal Gear Store functions or AIA events

Associate degree plus 1 year retail experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
