Job Description
- Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
- Pipe Fitting / Tube Fitting: 1 year (preferred)
- Blueprint Reading: 1 year (preferred)
- Experience working in manufacturing, assembly, production, or similar industries
- Self-motivated, ready to work attitude
- Works well independently and as a team member
- Safety conscious and adheres to all company safety rules and PPE requirements
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high quality work
- Willingness to take on other duties as assigned
- Understanding of electrical systems, pneumatics/hydraulics
- Some welding and pipe fitting experience
- Strong mechanical background and machine building
- Ability to read, visualize, and follow drawing, blueprints, and schematics
- Knowledge in the use of hand tools, power equipment, and simple cutting tools
- Ability to accurately read measuring instruments (i.e. calipers, tapes, gauges, etc.)
- Must be able to prioritize multiple projects
- Lifting / carrying up to 50-lbs
- Work can be strenuous, and includes walking, climbing, kneeling, crawling, squatting, pulling (such as on torque wrenches), and assembling large components
- Material handling - obtain parts for assembly with fork life or remote operated crane using chains and lifters
- Shop environment
- Standard shift schedule is Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm
- Optional overtime available (during weeks or weekends).
