Crush-It is a leading concrete and asphalt recycling service provider that is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. We have expanded operations into 5 states and are looking to venture into more markets. We are in search of career-minded individuals to join the journey. Currently, we are actively seeking a skilled mechanic/ welder to handle repairs on rock crushers, loader and excavator bodies, as well as large excavator and front-end loader buckets. Training on our equipment will be provided. All necessary tools and welding equipment will be provided. This is a hybrid position, mostly on the road to visit machines on active crushing job sites and sometimes working from the shop.
Mechanic / Welder / Fabricator Responsibilities:
Plan alongside management on upcoming projects and give management a close to accurate projected date of completion. Complete projects in a safe and timely manner that closely matches the completion date set with management. Notify management of any unforeseen issues immediately. Reinspect completed work for any missing repairs and revisit anything not satisfactory. Regularly update management of progress of projects. Collaborate with other welding personnel to plan, work and complete projects. Maintain the provided welding equipment and tools to ensure peek operation. Manage all supplies and notify purchasing manager when additional tools, parts, or steel material is needed.
