Crystal Farms is Hiring a Distribution supervisor Near Mills, WI
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the uploading and putaway of inbound shipments.
- Supervise and coordinate the pickng, counting, and loading of outbound shipments.
- Ensure the employees are operating material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Establish and execute work processes that ensure KPI's (key performance indicators) are met or exceeded.
- Establish weekly work schedules for receiving, picking, and loading personnel and ensure that the jobs are completed.
- Maintain accurate inventory control procedures to ensure proper storage and rotation of product.
- Ensure optimum space utilization.
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work environment.
- Maintain an operation actively promotes the highest possible level of human safety.
- Supervise employee's within the parameters of company policies. Maintain proper documentation relating to work rules, safety, absentessism, discipline, and performance reviews.
- Manage material and labor resources to maintain an efficient productive work force.
- Devlop a solid understanding of the information system (SAP)
- Maintain good working relationships with QA, transportation, accounting, production, customer service and other corporate personnel.
- Recommend and propose capital projects.
- Communicate, collaborate and deploy labor daily with off-shift counterpart.
- Participate and / or lead a team in our EHS program
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and prodcedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to handle basic math.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standarization exists.
- Ability to manage a diverse team of personalities.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work oevertime or weekends when required.
- Must be able to pass a forklift certification.
