General Summary:

Performs a variety of duties including, but not limited to operating all functions of the press safely and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

What is the Job?

• Operate the extrusion press to reach optimal production and goals.
• Address issues with the dies to make the press more efficient and effective.
• Identify issues causing scrap to increase press efficiencies.
• Check the quality of extrude parts for rework, or damage.

• Properly load presses to reduce the risk of damage.
• Perform light maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Some light to heavy and repetitive lifting may be necessary.

What You Bring:

• Knowledge of production operations and experience in a manufacturing environment beneficial.
• Previous work experience on an extrusion press is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and operate a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer helpful.
• Entry level computer experience useful.
