Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Cedar Springs, MI

Reports To: Shift Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly

Founded in 1986, CS Manufacturing, is a full-service injection molder offering total program management capabilities. Our 177,000 square foot manufacturing facility has been designed to provide a world class work environment that features highly automated, flexible work centers, on-line and off-line assembly cells, quality lab, training center, warehouse, bulk material silos and underground utilities.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the shift supervisor, this position will provide maintenance and technical support to the operations team in a plastic injection molding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in equipment operation
• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and the entire facility.
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Maintain clean work area
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Good work ethic
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience required
