Job Summary: CSAGH is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Paraprofessional to provide support in various educational settings. The Paraprofessional will work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to enhance the learning experience for students. Qualifications & Desired Attributes:

Key Responsibilities:
Student Assistance:
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, reinforcing learning objectives.
Assist students with assignments, projects, and understanding instructional material.
Classroom Support:
Collaborate with teachers to implement instructional plans and activities.
Support classroom management by helping maintain a positive and organized learning environment.
Administrative Tasks:
Assist in record-keeping, grading, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Prepare instructional materials and help maintain an organized classroom environment.
Communication:
Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and other school staff regarding student progress and any concerns.
Collaborate with teachers to address student needs effectively.
Supervision:
Monitor students during various activities, including recess, lunch, and field trips.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students in all settings.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
Previous experience working in an educational or childcare setting is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning.
Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with educators and other staff.
Physical Requirements:
The employee needs to communicate verbally and listen regularly.
The ability to stand, sit, and move around the classroom for extended periods.
Lifting, bending, and carrying classroom materials and supplies.
