Primary FunctionTo maintain appropriate child centered activities and environment in order that students may learn and grow effectively.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Guides children in working and playing harmoniously with other children.
- Prepare for daily activities.
- Implement curriculum plans as directed by Early Childhood Coordinator.
- Assists children in developing self-regulation strategies
- Maintain accurate records for children.
- Ensures the general safety and well-being of assigned children
- Collaborate with classroom instructional assistant on planning of activities, lesson plans, events, etc.
- Complete annual employee training.
- Maintains neat learning and play environment.
- Supervises children during regular play periods and lunch supervision.
- Assists with arrival and dismissal of student and confers with parents as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
