What to expect in this role on a given day:This person will work within a growing team to contribute to a wide variety of projects that are instrumental to the company’s success. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Determine appropriate accounting treatment and recording business transactions for leases and payoffs
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income/expense accounts
- Prepare journal entries
- Recording business transactions for warehouses while providing accounting treatments
- Prepare workpapers in support of other projects
- Have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience)
- Have a general understanding of GAAP
- Possess strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills along with being organized and having the ability to multi-task
- Are experienced in Excel and other spreadsheet applications
- Consider yourself to be detail oriented
