Reporting to the Supervisor, you will work onsite in our Holly Springs, NC facility. You will be a production shop floor supervisor in a Flu Vaccine manufacturing facility, managing staff in buffer and media prep operations.
- Shift : Night
- Hours : 6PM - 6AM
- Follow 2-2-3 schedule
Responsibilities
- Manage a staff of shift production personnel to ensure safety, training and quality compliance are prioritized for manufacturing goals
- Develop manufacturing staff for future leadership roles
- Manage performance of operational staff
- Manage resources and material requirements to meet production and budget targets
- Responsible for content and correct execution of SOPs and production batch records
- Provide insight to deviations and provide technical problem solving
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Schedule manufacturing activities and facilitate completion of equipment maintenance and validation
Key Skills :
Utilize business systems including : SAP, Veeva, DeltaV
Technical writing
Leadership capabilities
Technical and process-related troubleshooting
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma / GED required, preferably coupled with Biotechnology coursework. Bachelor's degree in scientific or engineering discipline preferred
Minimum 5 years' related industry experience required.
Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biological industry or equivalent preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of GMPs and FDA requirements is required.
