The California State University, Dominguez Hills Toro Auxiliary Partners (CSUDH TAP) is a non-profit organization and was incorporated in 1968 as a partner of California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) to provide supplemental services that enhance core academic programs that are an integral part of the University’s educational mission. CSUDH is a highly diverse, metropolitan university primarily serving the South Bay area of Los Angeles County. CSUDH is one of 23 campuses that comprise the California State University system.

CREST Student Interns are an integral part of the Center for Innovation in STEM Education (CISE) CREST team. CREST Is the Center for Resilient, Equitable, and Sustainable Transportation. Student-interns provide CREST Team Members with various types of support to assist with fulfilling the center’s mission of serving CSUDH students, staff, and faculty, and residents of local surrounding communities with a superb ride-share experience.

Employment at Toro Auxiliary Partners is on an at-will basis and can be terminated by either an employee or Toro Auxiliary Partners at any time with or without cause or advance notice. Permanent status can neither be obtained nor granted.

This is a part-time, non-exempt, student position without benefits.Hourly Rate:  $17 per hourEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, respond to emails, and perform other office-related tasks like inputting data or research.
• Gather and organize detailed information on existing mobility options in the community for high-need populations.
• Assist in conducting surveys, collecting data and enterprising data to community concerns and needs in transportation
• Assist customers with application features when needed.
• Assist students and solder adults in securing low-cost TAP cards for public transportation and similar programs.
• Assist with promotional activities by assisting the team to develop social media campaigns and promotion materials; be able to conduct brief presentations during classroom presentations or fairs (might require carrying boxes and other items).
• Assist with special events by preparing sign-in sheets, taking attendance, sending reminders
• Assist in preparation and routine check-up of vehicle maintenance (Might require moving and carrying items).
• Assist in vehicle check-ups after each rental series
• Assist in vehicle cleanliness, making sure vehicles remain clean to a standard each day.
• Assist with data entry and maintain databases' current
• Assist coordinators with information sessions/interview scheduling
• Participate in weekly team meetings
• Submit a daily summary report of daily duties

• Must be a current California State University Dominguez Hills student in good academic and non-academic standing.
• Customer service experience preferred

• Proficiency with Zoom
• Proficiency with MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Effective communicator (verbal, written)
