Role Description

CTEC Solar is seeking a Project Developer - Solar for a full-time role to be located in our Bloomfield, CT office. This role will be hybrid with 3 days in the office. The Project Developer - Solar will be responsible for developing solar projects from concept through construction, inclusive of all required permits and agreements. The role involves working with engineers, financiers, designers, and project managers to identify, evaluate, and execute all aspects of project development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in solar project development
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects and contracts, inclusive of land agreements, permitting, and interconnection
• Demonstrated knowledge of energy markets and financing models
• Strong network of contacts in the target solar markets and communities
• Ability to think critically and strategically, and to work collaboratively and independently
• Strong communication, project management, and organization skills
• Ability to balance competing priorities and to meet tight deadlines
• A passion for renewable energy and sustainable development
