• Responsible for global lab business unit growth and financial success, including expanding global footprint and service offerings in line with demand, budget management, and profit and loss (P&L) results
• Develop and execute a roadmap for building global laboratory service offerings and operations that are highly efficient, high quality, and compliant with applicable quality system requirements. This includes global safety and specialty laboratory services, bioanalytical testing, specimen kit building services, and biorepository services
• Oversee the personnel hiring and training required to build a high performing team
• Work with Laboratory Directors, Managers, and laboratory operations personnel to oversee the operation and administration of our clinical laboratories
• Partners closely with the internal business development team and the Business Unit Leadership across CTI to bring significant new work into the company because of past performance, contacts, reputation, credibility with potential clients, and understanding of marketplace needs
• Supervise automation, including the design, development, optimization, and scale-up of high-complexity assays
• Oversee supply chain with procurement, including quality, cost, and delivery of products, receiving, forecasting, budget, and fulfillment
• Plan and manage departmental budgets, including long-term planning and actual performance within target
• Directs the development and implementation strategies for new methods needed to serve existing customers and expand the business. Responsible for growing the technical staff within the lab
• Oversee all proper Laboratory certifications globally
• Review US, EU and other applicable regulatory guidance on laboratory operations to ensure compliance to necessary regulations and inspection preparedness in all regions
• Direct the implementation of clinical standard operating procedures (SOPs) that meet ICH, EMA and FDA requirements
• Provide oversight to ensure safety concerns and/or adverse events are identified; develop and implement corrective actions accordingly, and participate in internal/external study related audits, as needed
• Anticipates and identifies laboratory concerns/ requirements and implements solutions directly or through delegation 

What You'll Bring

• At least 10 years of experience in healthcare or life sciences business management, planning, financial oversight, P&L responsibility
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience leading integrated and matrixed organizations
