CTIS is seeking an experienced emerging IT solutions’ Director to be a part of our Innovation, Development, and Growth (IDG) team. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, deliberate thinking, and leadership skills to both support our business goals and execute our growth plans. This role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and integrating emerging technologies that align with CTIS’ strategic goals. This role requires a leader with a strong technical background, a passion for innovation, and the ability to translate complex technological concepts into practical business solutions.
· Monitor, identify, and evaluate emerging information technologies, assess their potential for strategic advantage and business impact.
· Collaborate closely with executive leadership, business units, and stakeholders to understand their technology needs and drive technology-enabled business initiatives.
· Accelerate innovation initiatives to enhance organizational capacity and capabilities, productivity, and efficiency.
· Act as a liaison between the business development and the technical teams.
· Lead technical solutioning during business development capture and proposal processes.
· Lead technology evaluation and planning and proof of concept (POC)/prototype development
· Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
· A minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a technology leader or in a similar technology leadership role.
· Preferred Experience/Knowledge of implementing emerging IT solutions for health industry and familiarity with standards and best practices.
· Experience/Knowledge of federal government industry is a plus.
· Proven experience in leading building high-performing technology teams including managing vendors.
· Deep understanding of technology landscape including strategy for emerging technologies, technology trends and best practices.
· Experience driving digital transformation initiatives - leveraging cloud, AI/ML, blockchain technologies, Data Analytics, High performance computing, Low Code/No Code, etc.
· Excellent teamwork capabilities including working with diverse team members and stakeholders.
· Strong leadership skills and ability to influence strategy and direction.
· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to decipher complex information and summarize it to an executive audience.
· Advanced presentation and communication skills and the ability to interface and communicate effectively with executives, business units, and stakeholders.
