Job Title: Technical Project Manager - Change Management

Type: Contract

Location: Burbank, CA – hybrid

Compensation: $85-95/hour

We are seeking a technical project manager for our client to oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure. This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Program Management & Enabling Tech.

Responsibilities:

• Lead operational and growth initiatives, including gathering requirements and defining scope, schedule, and resources for the technology team
• Provide clear project status reporting, including timelines, milestone tracking, budget status, and issue identification to program management and stakeholders.
• Prioritize and escalate critical operational tasks, execute project work plans, and revise as needed to meet changing requirements.
• Collaborate with program management to define technology roadmaps.
• Maintain KPI dashboards related to program metrics using MS Power BI.
• Apply analytics and critical thinking to identify inefficiencies and risks, implementing projects or processes to improve operations.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and properly stored.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3 to 7 years of experience in Technical Project Management, utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Over 4 years of experience managing and developing teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing technical operations teams (i.e., IT hardware engineers & software developers).
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and organize work effectively.
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet and familiarity with Jira.
• Strong ability to develop and present business cases using PowerPoint or Keynote.
• Ability to create workflow drawings and process maps using Visio.
• Previous experience in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
• Experience with organizational or change management.
• PMP certification and Certified Scrum Master credentials are a plus.
