SUMMARY:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Administrator in our Facilities Department. This position specifically is located in Norfolk, Virginia. We are looking for a Technical Administrator to perform general clerical and administrative support duties in accordance with established procedures, instructions, and work routines; Performs data input, extraction, analysis, and development in support of departmental functions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prefer AA/AS plus two (2) years directly related administrative experience or a High School diploma with four (4) years of directly related administrative experience.

• Shipyard or manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Articulate and confident communicator, with the ability to develop and maintain effective and robust working relationships
• Strong admin experience and use of various software packages. Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience preferred.
• Proven experience in audit and compliance within a technical facilities management environment
• Great attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence
• Experience of being proactive and reactive
• Proven IT skills, ability to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Basic understanding of Health and Safety at Work regulations.
• Must be punctual and reliable, with proven attendance record
