These providers bring their unparalleled expertise at the forefront of medicine to deliver trusted, compassionate health care services at primary and specialty care clinics as well as facilities operated by affiliate hospitals of the University of Colorado. We are seeking a highly skilled ITS Project Manager to join our ITS team. This job can be performed 100% remotely and out of state candidates will be considered. The ITS Project Manager will coordinate and manage products associated with the acquisition, design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software, hardware, etc. The scope of responsibility also spans new development and enhancements, as well as installations and upgrades. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversee assigned technology related projects of varying magnitude in terms of complexity, cost, time-constraints, internal/external staffing and equipment, including software and hardware.Assist with project management processes, including but not limited to scoping, documentation, budgeting, and risk management.Maintain project plans in order to track critical path, tasks, issues, costs, and resources.Serve as a liaison between the Information Technology Services (ITS) department and user community to provide guidance and direction on product features and capabilities to align with business procedures and user need.Aid in the development and maintenance of departmental policies, procedures, and standards.Remain up-to-date on new implementations and understanding of Business Unit workflows.Perform other duties and support other business initiatives as assigned. Requires 3 years’ of project management experience in an area utilizing computer application systems is required. Must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, or Health Care Systems. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required, or the ability to achieve certification in one year. Experience in computer programming, IDX/Epic software applications, and healthcare are strongly preferred. The idea candidate will be a self-starter, responsible, and able to view business situations from both a micro and macro-orientation. This position will require good management, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. The ability to maintain a positive attitude and exhibit professionalism and leadership at all times is essential.
