Robert Half is seeking an Oracle Business Systems Analyst/Developer to join a firm located just north of Providence, RI. This role will be pivotal in their transition from Oracle EBS to a cloud-based system, offering an exciting opportunity for someone with functional BSA experience within Oracle and knowledge in development. As part of our team, you will also have the chance to work with various stakeholders and report directly to the VP of IT. This role is hybrid, onsite 2-3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing Oracle EBS system and propose improvements or new solutions
• Assist in the selection and implementation of a new cloud-based system
• Conduct AB testing to ensure the functionality and efficiency of the new system
• Collaborate with the Oracle team based overseas to ensure smooth operations
• Use Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation
• Use Oracle EBS Modules, Oracle Developer, Oracle Apex, and other Oracle tools for system analysis and development
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD) based on the analysis of business needs
• Apply design and diagramming skills to visually represent system processes and workflows
• Utilize Agile Scrum methodology for project management and system development
• Train and support end-users in the transition to the new system.

This role offers an opportunity to be part of a critical system transition project, allowing the successful candidate to apply and enhance their skills in Oracle EBS, cloud-based systems, and business systems analysis.

Requirements:

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience with Oracle Apex development and Oracle R12 EBS.
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Database, EO/IR systems, and Oracle EBS is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle EBS Modules, Oracle Developer, Oracle Apex, Oracle, and Oracle Application Modules is essential.
• Experience with Oracle Application Server, Oracle Application Development, Oracle Cloud, Oracle DBA, and Oracle Enterprise Linux is necessary.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP, Oracle Inventory, Oracle Manufacturing, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle R12 E-Business Suite (EBS) is needed.
• Proven experience in Agile Scrum methodology and AB Testing.
• Ability to create, interpret and manage Business Requirement Documents.
• Strong skills in design and diagramming tools.
• Must have excellent problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex business systems and technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Must have a proactive approach to identify problems, analyze information and implement solutions.
• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
