Responsible for coordinating Yard Equipment Operators and Yard Crew Members in the safe and efficient operation of all equipment. Able to communicate with subordinate and lead in a professional manner.Coordinates yard operations in compliance with company policies and procedures. Ensures all employees are performing their jobs safely and efficiently. Supervises Yard Equipment Operators in safe handling of material. Oversees housekeeping operations as needed. Maintains inventory control of all material. Communicates problems with material, racks, equipment, etc. with Yard Manager. Ensures material is loaded/unloaded in compliance with Shipping and Receiving Coordinator’s instructions. Performs job tally’s as required and enter into PDL system. Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of equipment by the respective operators, and the safety and efficiency of the crewmembers in moving and handling tubular goods and equipment.
