Executive Sous Chef

Reports to: Executive Chef

Salary Range: 70,000 to 75,000

Overall work Summary: To ensure that overall standards and quality are maintained. Working directly with the Executive chef on menu changes and overall creativity.
Job Description:

• Strength in leadership, organization, motivation and management of a service.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office (excel, word, etc.)
• Availability of 7 days a week, am and pm shift
• Knowledgeable in menu development and creative mind
• Flexible and able to problem solve, while experiencing the excitement of working offsite in different environments and themed events

skills Required:

• Formal training in the culinary arts industry as far as knife skills, cooking procedures, and sanitation
• At least 2 year of entry level management experience in the industry.

Physical demands:
Will be required to be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Must be able to stand on feet for fours or longer. Should be well acclimated as far as movement on the line.

Personality traits:

Team player, flexible worker, organized, dependable, team leader, works well with others, should be able to adapt and remain clam in high pressure situations.
