Culmen International, LLC is hiring a Project Manager I to support our National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Global Material Security, Office of International Nuclear Security (INS) contract based in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid role.
The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Global Material Security, Office of International Nuclear Security (INS) requires a Washington, DC based project manager to support the management and implementation of international nuclear security projects on a full-time basis. INS advances U.S. international efforts to prevent theft and sabotage of nuclear materials and facilities worldwide by partnering with countries and international organizations to secure weapons-usable nuclear materials, nuclear power plants and fuel cycle facilities, research reactors, and materials in transit. INS engages with more than 50 partner nations around the world through assessments, technical exchanges, trainings, facility upgrades, regulatory development, and other assistance to strengthen the most critical components of their nuclear security architecture. INS also helps partners adapt and implement security solutions to address emerging technologies such as unmanned aerial systems (UAS), advanced nuclear reactors, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and 5G communication networks.
The project manager will support INS federal staff with the oversight of international projects and portfolios as assigned. The project manager should have a background and experience in international affairs, national security, public policy, communications, or a related field.
