Compensation/Benefits:

  • $72,000-79,000, depending on experience

Accountability:

Accountable to the Director of Programs & Initiatives

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Supportive Sheltering Initiative and all programs within the initiative.
  • Lead continuous quality improvement process of programs, services, and support in conjunction with the Director Team to meet all program and funding goals.
  • Provide supervisory support and high-level oversight for Supportive Sheltering Initiative staff.
  • Facilitate programmatic design, implementation, and evaluation for programs within the Supportive Sheltering Initiative.
  • Support the Development Department with grant writing, reporting, and other funding needs within the Supportive Sheltering Initiative and programs
  • Meet regularly with the Finance Director to prepare annual program budgets and ensure proper budget expenditures.
  • Work alongside Contract Compliance & Database Administrator to facilitate completion, accuracy, and consistency of data and compliance.
  • Work with Human Resources on hiring and supporting staff.
  • Actively participate in developing and implementing strategic plans, in conjunction with the Director Team.
  • Work with leadership to develop consistent opportunities for staff to connect to cultivate a culture of inclusivity.
  • Conduct annual and ongoing performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Represent Cultivate Initiatives to external constituency groups as needed – including community, governmental, and private organizations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Programs & Initiatives.

  • Possess a solution-oriented approach with a high value on teamwork.

  • Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to a multicultural approach for supporting an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
  • Highly effective communicator and active listener with a keen ability to adapt appropriately to various audiences.

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Being physically present in the CI offices from 8:30 am- 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday
  • Work is performed indoors, but may require some work in all types of weather at the Safe Rest Village.
  • Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels, from quiet offices to louder, industrial settings.
  • Work requires the ability to perform repetitive movements of the wrist, hands, or fingers due to continuous use of computer keyboards and other office equipment.
  • Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Must be able to provide proof of Driver’s License
