Your Role:

As the Assistant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a CPA designation and extensive experience in accounting operations, global company experience, and implementing innovative solutions. 

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and oversee payables, receivables, billing, collections and payroll functions 
• Develop and execute strategies to automate, improve efficiency, and future-proof accounting operations. 
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements 
• Coordinate and assist with the annual audit process 
• Assist in preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements 
• Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and dashboards to track overall performance 
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets 
• Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff 
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management. 
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed. 
• Demonstrate a strong desire to build and improve accounting processes. 
• Prioritize and implement software solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 

What Makes a Great Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification required
• 10 years of experience in accounting, with 7 years in a management role
• Prior experience working for global organizations required
• Familiarity with payables, receivables, billing, and collections processes and software solutions 
• Proven experience implementing software solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles
• Strong desire to build and improve accounting processes
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics)
