Culture Pop Soda is Hiring a Social Media Manager Near Cambridge, MA

Who you are: 

Culture Pop Soda is looking for a Social Media Manager to support day-to-day social media management, community management, and content creation. Reporting directly to the Director of Social Media and Brand Communications, this person will be responsible for managing organic social media content, community engagement, and internal content creation. 

What you’ll do:

  • Execute Culture Pop's social media strategy across Instagram and TikTok as well as any other relevant social media platforms.
  • Manage Culture Pop's presence on social media and act as liaison between the brand and the audience.
  • Assist with concepting and planning social media calendars to align with overall brand mission, relevant campaigns, and current events
  • Closely monitor and analyze social media trends and content, with the goal of creating and sourcing multiple pieces of trend-driven content each week
  • Produce, film, and edit video short format TikToks, Reels and other social video content using the latest trends and techniques
  • Ideate videos concepts and execute inspirational briefs, storyboards, and strategy for short format video
  • Create weekly competitive reports to share key social media, community management, partnerships, and influencer marketing initiatives 
  • Manage daily community management, building relationships with the Culture Pop social media community 
  • Assist with social media send-outs/giveaways/surprise-and-delight Moments

What you will bring:

  • 1-3 years of experience working in social media management or content creation (CPG experience a plus)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field)
  • Skilled in filming and editing social media video content (TikTok, CapCut, Premiere Rush)
  • Comfortable being behind and in-front of the camera
  • Deep understanding and point of view on social media trends. Constantly working on learning new trends and staying up to date on the latest content trends in social media
  • You have a passion for social media marketing, with a comprehensive understanding of Instagram and TikTok
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communications skills
  • Scrappy, creative thinker who is not afraid to suggest out-of-the-box ideas
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Must be willing to work in office in Cambridge, MA on average 3 days per week
