Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Merchandiser to join our team, specializing in tech accessories and consumer electronics. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle from procurement to distribution. Your keen eye for market trends, strong negotiation skills, and ability to cultivate vendor relationships will be essential in driving sales and maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Product Selection and Procurement:
  • Identify market trends and consumer demands to curate a diverse and competitive product portfolio.
  • Source new and innovative tech accessories and consumer electronics from domestic and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure competitive margins and favorable terms.

2.Inventory Management:

  • Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Monitor inventory turnover rates and implement strategies to maximize sell-through and minimize markdowns.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate inbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of goods.

3.Pricing and Promotion:

  • Analyze pricing strategies and market dynamics to set competitive pricing for products.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and strategies to drive sales and increase market share.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and promotions to identify opportunities and threats in the market.

4. Vendor Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing vendors and actively seek out new vendor partnerships.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality, pricing, and delivery.
  • Resolve any vendor-related issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.

5.Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and promotional initiatives.
  • Provide product training and support to sales representatives to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to stay abreast of market trends and forge new business relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in the tech accessories or consumer electronics industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for inventory management and analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
