The Cumberland Valley School District, a leader in public education in Pennsylvania, seeks a highly qualified candidate for the position of Security Officer II for the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting school and district administration in maintaining a safe and secure environment for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors of the Cumberland Valley School District.

While candidates can present themselves with a variety of backgrounds, all must have a high school diploma or GED and possess three (3) years of prior security, military, or police experience. Experience working with adolescents is preferred. The successful applicant will be required to obtain certification in Safe Crisis Management (SCM), CPR, and First Aid within six (6) months of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
