Overview

The Sr. Logistics Analyst position is a full-time exempt position. The individual will support logistics planning and execution onboard the SBX vessel during operational deployments. The individual will report to the SBX Program Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide a cohesive approach to logistics support requirements by managing and coordinating projects related to supply management, maintenance planning, and maintenance management.
• Support the SBX logistics operations with the conduct of physical asset inventories and inventory analysis.
• Support SBX with supply, maintenance, procurement, provisioning, and transportability.
• Review and evaluate procurement orders, service agreements, etc., in support of inventory and vessel operation’s needs.
• Coordinate program travel needs for deployed personnel
• Ensure logistics activities are performed in accordance with corporate policies and procedures and contract requirements.
• Support program meetings, conferences, and technical events.
• Mentor and/or supervise logistics personnel.
• Participate in Professional Development opportunities to maintain a knowledge base, skills, and abilities to meet or exceed relevant advances in manufacturing, repair, and overhaul capabilities.

Skills and Competencies

• High School degree required. Associated degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of logistics experience supporting DoD programs required.
• Knowledge of material and inventory tracking and management in accordance with DoD standards.
• Candidate must demonstrate very good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and coordinate personnel and event critical workflow and deliver on time work product

Security Clearance

• Active Secret Security clearance.

Travel

• Up to 25% per year to deployed locations around the world.
