Description We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (Avondale, AZ) We offer Sign On Bonus, Relocation, Competitive Pay and Benefits In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Completing repair activities on generators or components Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of service Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products. (Entry): Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators. Basic Diesel Engine experience. Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality. (Intermediate): Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components. Startup and repair of bypass transfer switch. Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation. (Advanced): Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems. Understanding switchgear schematics. Able to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics. Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
