DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Production Technician to join our Upfit production facility in De Pere, Wisconsin. Please note, this position comes with a $2, Sign-On Bonus!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

Install value-added components to loose engines and generators to meet customer requirements and design specifications.

Light production assembly, including : drilling, bolting and light fabrication.

Ability to read detailed equipment and part diagrams / prints of Cummins and OEM products and verify torque values referenced from established engineered guidelines.

General shop maintenance such as inspecting extension cords, replacing air lines, general maintenance, daily JSA (Job Safety Analysis) reports, welder inspections and daily time sheets.

Comfortable working at heights using fall protection and proper PPE

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following :

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Ability to work in an automotive shop / manufacturing setting, mechanical knowledge preferred.

Ability to use power tools, computer software and remove / install external diesel engine and generator components.

Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment as required and operate forklifts preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidates qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
