Cumulus Media is Hiring a Promotions Director Near Minneapolis, MN
is looking for an experienced Promotions Director to coordinate and implement on and off-air promotions and events. This position requires a high degree of organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, a personal disposition that works well with creative co-workers and has a passion for radio. This position reports to the Marketing Director.

operates KQRS, 93X and LOVE 105 - Heritage Twin Cities radio stations reaching over 830,000 people a week in the Twin Cities metro.
Key Responsibilities:Create and execute promotional contests and station events across all three local stationsDevelop strategic relationships with tour promoters and event venuesCoordinate with Programming and Sales teams to draft and execute all sales and station promotions from conception to completionCollaborate with Digital team to execute online contests, fulfill web deliverables, and support social media effortsWork with Promotions support staff to execute all aspects of contests, including scheduling, writing promotional copy, developing contest rules, and distributing prizesSchedule part-time staff for station events and other Department needsAttend and run select priority events, including the Minnesota State Fair, listener trips and station eventsProvide regular coaching and performance feedback to part-time staffSupport customer service efforts and effectively communicate with station listeners, as neededJob Requirements:
QualificationsKnowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulationsUnderstanding of stations’ programming strategiesComputer literacy in Photoshop, HTML, Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Media Span and Promo SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProblem-solving ability and skill in prioritizingAbility to interact with management and staff at all levelsAbility to multi-task and handle pressures and deadlinesMust possess valid state driver’s licenseMust have a flexible schedule and be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays based on station eventsWhat we offer:
