About The RoleCupshe is looking for an energetic, highly motivated Director of Sales And Business Development with a strong background in Apparel & Fashion to develop Cupshe in partnering with 3rd party wholesalers (Target, Macy’s, Costco, Nordstrom, etc.) in the United States or outside of United States. This role will be responsible for company wide sales and profit revenues through maintaining existing wholesale accounts and developing new wholesale partnerships.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, dynamic, self-driven and passionate to work in a fast paced fast fashion industry, and has a demonstrated ability to close deals and generate revenue. Can think outside the box and doesn’t take no for an answer. This role will directly report to EVP of Cupshe and will also partner cross-functionally with all local and oversea teams.
Job Duties
  • Formulated sales strategies for channel development in US EU and AU market, generate strategic plans to achieve the company's yearly sales goal;
  • Maintain existing marketplace and wholesale accounts, further analyze the advantages respectively, dig into the growing potentials, identify possible ceilings and propose feasible solutions to drive the rapid business growth of existing accounts (such as Target, Kohl's, Macy's, Costco, Nordstrom, Belk, Walmart, etc.) ;
  • Develop and generate new partnerships with online and offline business wholesalers, be able to promote cooperation with new partnerships through research, negotiation, etc., and be responsible for the sales revenue and marginal profits goals;
  • Proactively liaise with local US teams and China team, communicate with cross-functional teams to feedback problems found during business cooperation and facilitate improvements in an effective time manner;
  • Stay abreast with the information of industry, local market and targeted competitors, establish efficient data monitoring metrics or standards to further seek new opportunities for business growth.
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in fashion design will be a plus;
  • 5 years of working experience in women's apparel, fashion or retail industry;
  • 10 years of working experience in managing a sales team and motivating team members;
  • Experience in onboarding a big wholesale account will be a huge plus;
  • Strong communication and business development skills, with a high sense of responsibility and teamwork awareness;
  • Have strong data analysis skill and industry-related sensitivity;
  • Excellent communication and business negotiation skills;
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented and critical thinking skills;
  • Be able to adapt to the fast-paced working environment;
  • Frequent business travel (more than 50%);
  • Chinese speaking is nice to have.
