Key Responsibilities:

* Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, fax, or email, accurately determining their requirements and needs.

* Utilize available resources to provide quotes and process orders efficiently, maintaining meticulous documentation.

* Effectively communicate pricing, lead times, and product information to both new and existing customers.

* Collaborate with various departments to fulfill special customer requests, optimizing solutions and building strong customer relationships.

* Stay informed about our production and shipping methods to ensure accurate delivery timelines and proactive communication.

Education and Experience:

* Associate's degree (A. A.) from a two-year college preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Previous relevant experience and/or training is a plus.

* Proficient in reading and interpreting customer requests, catalogs, and documents.

* Skilled in writing routine reports, emails, and memos.

* Capable of effective verbal communication with customers and colleagues.

Mathematical Skills:

* Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

Physical Demands:

* Be comfortable with regular speaking and hearing.

* Capable of standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and occasionally stooping or kneeling.

* Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.

* Possess specific vision abilities, including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Work Environment

* Generally quiet, office environment.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On-site only; not a remote position.

40 hours per week excluding holidays and any applicable overtime.
