Our Shelby, NC site is looking for a Material Prep - Blaster to join their team! You will be responsible for the set up and operation of grit blast equipment within the overhaul department. You will also assist with cleaning and masking units, in accordance with all quality and manufacturing procedures.

Your Challenge

• Set-up, operate, and maintain set-up equipment used in the production of the company's product in order to carry out the manufacturing processes an acceptable level of quality with general supervision.
• Under general supervision, responsible for proper handling of Hazardous Waste and keeping work area clean and free of safety hazards.
• Masks, demasks, and cleans parts manually.

What You Bring

• High School or equivalent required.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment in a hands on role preferred.
• Excellent manual dexterity with knowledge of basic hand tools, disassembly and assembly practices, and test and inspection tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and detailed work instructions.
• Ability to be productive and complete quality work in an independent work environment.
