Your Challenge
- Assist in AR Cash Receipts Posting as needed.
- Assist in creating and distributing customer invoices as needed.
- Process General Ledger transactions.
- Post journal entries as part of the month-end close process for payroll accruals, bonus accruals, etc.
- Oversee cycle counting process in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the capitalization of fixed assets when placed into service.
- Assist in physical count of fixed assets.
- Prepare and record journal entries related to balance sheet and income statement activity according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
- Works with Shared Service Center & Center of Excellence on accounting tasks.
- Reconcile all assigned Balance Sheet Accounts.
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing procedures.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Apply accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
- Other projects/reports as needed.
- Accounting Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 3-7 years' experience working in an accounting field preferred.
- MBA and CPA are a plus.
- Experience with SAP is a preferred.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and other applicable accounting principles.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, and other advanced formulas.
- General proficiency in other Microsoft Office Applications.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Well-organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent critical thinking / analytical skills.
- Ability to set priorities, work independently, and bring issues to resolution.
