Manager, Finance & Operations

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a Manager, Finance & Operations to support the continued growth of the Project & Development Services (“PDS”) division. As a crucial member of the ANZ PDS team, you will collaborate with our regional and country leaders to drive operational efficiencies and support strategic and financial functions within the PDS business. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Finance business partnering and presents potential for future career growth within the company.

Job Description

Principal Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of PDS ANZ in formulating and executing strategic and operational decisions for the business.
• Consolidate and review monthly financial results, analyzing variances against budget, forecast, and prior year.
• Drive the monthly forecast and annual budgeting process for the ANZ PDS business.
• Collaborate with State heads and project teams to assess project profitability for key projects.
• Partner with PDS Regional and ANZ leadership teams to enhance finance-related processes and operational efficiencies.
• Work with Finance and HR teams to support business operational needs.
• Prepare ad-hoc presentations, analyses, and reports as required by the PDS Leadership team.

• Meticulous with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications, Education, and Professional Experience:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 5–7 years of experience in Big 4 audit firms or relevant roles in large multinational companies.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with the capability to manage large data sets and present them in meaningful financial summaries.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Knowledge of JDE Finance and/or Hyperion Essbase, as well as Power BI / Power Automate is preferred but not essential.

• Australian citizen (client requirement).
