We are currently hiring personnel for two of our warehouses, both located in the Leland area. Our Distribution Center located in Leland Industrial Park off of HWY 74, and our Custom Home Outlet warehouse is located off of HWY 17 in front of the Waterford neighborhood.

Custom Home Furnishings LLC is the premier upscale furniture retailer in Southeast North Carolina. We have several locations around the Wilmington and Leland areas and are continuing to see growth as the demand for high quality home furnishings rises. As our operations continue to expand, so does the need to increase our warehousing teams. We are able to work with full time and part time employees. Full time comes with benefits.

Job duties include (but are not limited to):

• Having exceptional organization and communication skills.
• Receiving and unloading freight from tractor trailers.
• Safely putting away and storing items in our rack system.
• Opening and inspecting orders prior to delivery.
• Loading our delivery trucks as we prepare them for our white glove delivery teams.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work space!

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 150 lbs. Most items are easily managed by two people but we do have items that are extremely heavy.
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to crouch, kneel, and walk backwards regularly.
• A driver's license is not required for a warehouse position, but is nice to have if you want to be able to move on to other positions within the company.
• Reliable transportation to and from work. Attendance must be predictable. (DEAL BREAKER)
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
