Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Buyer. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with procurement and purchasing. This includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with internal teams to meet operational needs and achieve cost savings.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes
- Experience in supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and inventory management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and other relevant software
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in the material handling industry or related field is a plus
- Experience in ERP Systems (Plex or Epicore) strongly preffered
