Overview

Join a leading federal healthcare consulting contract as a Change Management Specialist, dedicated to transforming healthcare for veterans through strategic change initiatives. This career growth opportunity involves performing tasks that require a multidisciplinary approach to managing change and transition within healthcare organizations, programs, and projects. The Change Management Specialist will develop and implement transition management plans, manage communications for major initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and drive organizational transformation and culture change. Key responsibilities include completing change management assessments and strategy, identifying and managing anticipated resistance, and creating actionable deliverables such as communication plans, roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans.

As the designated Change Management Specialist, you will support and engage senior leaders, contribute to organizational design and define roles and responsibilities, and integrate change management activities into project plans. You will evaluate and ensure user readiness, manage stakeholders, track and report issues, and define and measure success metrics to monitor change progress. The ideal candidate will possess Prosci certification and have experience applying Prosci methodologies and change management practices in a union environment. Your expertise in healthcare revenue cycle operations, provider network management, or provider relations will be invaluable in driving successful change initiatives and enhancing the overall effectiveness of healthcare services for veterans. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement transition management plans for healthcare organizations, programs, and projects.
  • Manage communications associated with major initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and drive organizational transformation and culture change.
  • Complete change management assessments and develop change management strategies.
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance to change.
  • Create actionable deliverables, including communication plans, roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans.
  • Support and engage senior leaders throughout the change process.
  • Contribute to organizational design and define roles and responsibilities.

  • Utilize Prosci methodologies and best practices in change management.
  • Apply change management practices in a union environment (preferred).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in change management within healthcare organizations.
  • Prosci certification (preferred).
  • Proven expertise in healthcare revenue cycle operations, provider network management, or provider relations.
  • Experience developing and implementing transition management plans.
  • Strong skills in conducting change management assessments and developing strategies.
  • Ability to create and execute communication plans, roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans.
  • Experience supporting and engaging senior leaders and managing stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with applying change management practices in a union environment (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
