Job Purpose
- The Information Services Developer II is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing systems based on requirements, ensuring quality support and customer service.
- Analyse business and functional requirements to create design strategies.
- Develop application designs and coding parameters with essential functionalities.
- Collaborate with team members to address issues and implement technical solutions.
- Develop and deploy code following industry best practices and organizational standards.
- Evaluate proposed system acquisitions or solutions for compatibility, cost, and resource requirements.
- Integrate software components into existing technical systems and assess impacts on other systems.
- Participate in the development of standards and proactive processes for data collection and reporting.
- Research, design, develop, and implement applications, databases, and interfaces.
- Fix issues during test cycles and continuously improve deliverable quality.
- Document each phase of development for future reference and maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, algorithms, and data structures.
- Understanding of programming principles and design.
- Strong technical knowledge in application, integration design, and development.
- Ability to solve complex problems with direction.
- Effective and patient customer interaction skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees.
