SummaryThe Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the inventory processes and procedures for the assigned program. The ideal candidate will have experience handling large-volume, small-part inventories, and be skilled at organizing extensive data and extracting key information. A continuous improvement mindset is essential for this role. You will be responsible for tracking all inventory used by contractors for WIFI cable installations and fiber burial. This includes materials like splitters, construction supplies, vaults (for protecting electrical wiring), and markers on contractor sites. The inventory is managed on-site, which consists of buildings and small warehouses with a few dock doors, not in a client warehouse. Roles & Responsibilities
Verify stock information and unit identification numbers
Inventory and audit equipment and parts
Unpackage, sort, and stage units for production
Receive units using RF handheld devices
Maintain accurate inventory records
Perform cycle counts and audits according to company policies and procedures
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to prioritize workflow effectively
Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods
Flexibility with scheduling
Proficiency in computer and Excel skills is a plus
