Summary-The Contingent Change Management Engineer provides essential administrative support to the Change Management Engineer (CME). The CME acts as the “air traffic controller” for all changes entering the Manufacturing/Production domain, ensuring completeness, conciseness, and seamless integration of parts into Operations. This role is cross-functional, involving expertise in transitioning Engineered Designs into Manufacturing Documentation and Processes. Responsibilities
Creating Change Notice Tasks: The role involves generating change notice tasks to facilitate smooth transitions.
Maintaining Controlled Copy Log: The Change Management Engineer keeps track of controlled copies, ensuring accurate documentation.
Executing Manufacturing Bill of Material Updates: Updating manufacturing bill of materials is a critical task.
Handling Costing Requests: The engineer responds to costing inquiries related to changes.
Metrics Reporting for Change Management: Regularly reporting on Operations Change Order (OCO) status (weekly, monthly, yearly) is part of the role.
Developing Written Change Management Procedures: Creating and managing written procedures for change management.
Supporting the Change Management Engineer: Assisting the CME with other tasks related to change management.
Minimum Qualifications
Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and collaboration are essential.
Experience with SAP-MBP and Windchill: Familiarity with Bill of Materials, Planning, and Change Management in an Operations/Factory environment.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Document Requirements: Understanding the necessary documentation for manufacturing processes.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations and resolve issues effectively.
Broad Business Systems Understanding: Awareness of organizational culture and systems.
