Cutting Edge Search is Hiring a Quality Assurance Technician (Contract- 6 months) Near Reading, PA
- The individual will support the Engineering Team in designing and creating new electrical industrial control and low voltage power distribution panels, including prototypes.
- Build and document prototypes, often from preliminary or minimal documentation.
- Create wire list documentation, including selecting wire terminals and tooling.
- Assist in the creation and design of new panels.
- Resolve daily NPI (New Product Introduction) issues and problems with prototypes.
- Address panel layout and harness routing issues.
- Provide monthly reports analyzing quality issues in NPI.
- Maintain and inventory tools used in NPI (e.g., Torque Tools).
- Help with verification, inspection, and testing of panels.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, SyteLine, and SOLIDWORKS PDM.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in documenting changes in ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented and customer-focused.
- Flexibility to manage multiple projects.
- Adherence to 6S practices daily.
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- US work authorization (Green Card, US Citizen).
- Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm
- 12 months Contract to Hire
