- Perform shipping, receiving, and mail duties in a warehouse
- Communicate with internal/external customers about packages and shipments
- Use PC, laptop, Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook), and Slack
- Handle daily deliveries and pick-ups with UPS, FedEx, USPS
- Track shipment metrics
- Prepare shipments using banding, shrink wrapping, and labeling
- Operate pallet jacks and similar equipment
- Perform physical tasks like bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier weights
- Daily Operations: Manage solo-person site operations, including shipping, receiving, and mail services.
- Customer Communication: Handle incoming packages and assist with outbound packages and freight.
- Technical Skills: Work with PC, laptop, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word.
- Physical Requirements: Lift up to 75 lbs., perform bending and twisting, operate pallet jacks, and similar equipment.
- Packaging: Perform banding, shrink wrapping, packaging, and labeling.
- Carrier Coordination: Work with UPS, FedEx, and other shipping platforms for deliveries and shipments.
- Metrics Tracking: Capture and track daily volume metrics for received and outbound shipments.
- Mail Room Operations: Manage daily mail room functions, including processing and delivering mail.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain daily formal contact with customers and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Service Excellence: Implement and manage Excellence programs.
- Equipment Operation: Efficiently operate required equipment and software.
- Safety Gear: Wear steel-toe boots/shoes when using pallet jacks.
- Routine Functions: Create/complete work orders, monitor contractors, inspect facilities, and report issues.
- Vendor Interaction: Interact with contracted vendors, facility management, and occupants.
- Office Supplies: Reorder office supplies as needed.
- Internal Relations: Maintain positive relationships with department employees.
- Data Reporting: Collect and provide data, complete monthly reports with leadership support.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 years in a related field (B2B or technical)
