Job Title: Ticket Taker

Overview:

The Cuyahoga County Fair – Work at a place of FUN! Want the freedom of having most of your summer off but earn some extra spending cash in August? Join the CCF Team for 1-week this summer and be part of the fun! Plus, your employee badge gets you FREE access to the fair each day to visit as frequently as you like!

Dates:
The fair runs August 6th - August 11th 2024. Some availability everyday is prefered, but not required. In addition to the previously mentioned dates. Employees must attend one mandatory training session either on either Friday, August 2nd 2024 from 6 PM to 10 PM or on Saturday, August 3rd 2024 from 10 AM - 2 PM.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor as they arrive at the fairgrounds
- Assist guests and provide guidance on facilities and amenities
- Collect and scan tickets for entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Manage crowds and queues to maintain order and safety
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate smooth operations

Requirements:

- Age 16 (Ages 16 & 17 require parent/guardian permission)
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services preferred
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction
- Ability to manage conflicts or challenging situations professionally
