About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Development. The successful candidate will be the key leader responsible for the overall management, planning, and execution of all aspects related to the organization's mission. This includes the development and implementation of effective programs and services, a diversified revenue and fundraising portfolio, donor stewardship, and finance and budget management. The Executive Director will also be tasked with positioning the organization as a leader in diabetes prevention and management within the community, and with establishing strategic partnerships and collaborations with various entities, including corporations, foundations, government officials, and other non-profit organizations.Applicants for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in non-profit management, with a proven track record in fundraising and non-profit leadership. The role requires an individual who is outcome-driven, able to manage and motivate groups and individuals, and has strong market, community, and constituent perspective. The Executive Director will be expected to demonstrate leadership and effective management, as well as to increase area revenue through the development and implementation of strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. The position also involves positioning the organization as a key voice in diabetes-related initiatives, developing advocacy strategies, and building relationships with government officials and the media. Proficiency in computer-based information systems and the ability to work some nights and weekends are essential.
