Job Overview:

As the Construction Operations Manager for CW Erecting, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our project execution and operational efficiency. You will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills to drive the company's success and growth.

Pay will be $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience and will include bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives, including expansion into new markets, operational improvements, and revenue growth.
• Project Management: Oversee project execution from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Provide guidance and support to project managers and teams as needed.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project performance and profitability.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize profitability.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and other adverse impacts.
• Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that construction projects meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
• Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Select and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
• Safety and Compliance: Establish and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes. Promote a culture of safety among employees and subcontractors.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to project managers and operational teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency enhancements. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement across all areas of operations.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the construction industry, with a focus on operations management.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving practical and effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
• PMP certification or similar credentials are a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish is highly desired.

Working Conditions:

• This position typically operates in the field as it requires regular visits to construction sites or other project locations.
• May involve occasional travel to attend meetings or conferences.
• Requires the ability to work flexible hours to accommodate project needs and deadlines.
