Accounting SpecialistPosition Overview: The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for providing accounting support for the organization. This will include managing the accounting process, preparing financial statements, and completing accounting duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax returns. The Accounting Specialist will also provide support to external auditors as needed and ensure that internal accounting policies and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and maintain general ledger.
- Perform month-end closing and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and other financial reports.
- Assist with tax returns, including preparation and filing.
- Assist external auditors with their inquiries.
- Maintain and follow internal accounting policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
