Position OverviewWe are seeking an Application Specialist who will be responsible for the application of tools and various machining processes to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Main task involves understanding customers' needs in metalworking, as well as educating customers, prospects, and distributors our products and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and meet customers to review applications, determine opportunities, and conduct daily sales presentations.
- Liaise between company and customers on pricing, services, and product launches.
- Develop prospect accounts and partner with the distribution chain to increase revenue.
- Update customers on product modifications and enhancements.
- Attend training meetings to stay informed on new products, procedures, and tools.
- Maintain professionalism to positively represent the company.
- Attend conferences and trade shows.
- Utilize marketing data and sales management tools to maximize effectiveness.
- Organize and attend joint sales calls with distributors.
- Prepare sales and marketing reports, maintain expense accounts, and update customer accounts.
- Provide product quotes with inside sales support and ensure follow-up on leads.
- 2 years of experience in Milling, Turning, Grooving, and Job shop machining processes (required)
- Degree in Sales and/or Marketing (preferred)
- Experience with designing specialty tools (preferred)
- job shop experience (preferred)
- Experience processing customer parts from drawing to finished product (preferred)
- Account Management Experience (preferred)
- Good communication skills.
